Since manufacturing commenced in1980, the company has maintained the good and consistent quality of our Simba brand cement products. The success of this policy lies in:

We have also formalised our quality controls into a quality assurance system, which provides evidence to establish that quality related activities are being performed eff ectively and that our cement products will set and develop s trength according to the specifi ed standards.Production processes are periodically checked and reviewed in order to improve effi ciency with the least possible impact on the environment.

Tanga Cement Company Ltd. has been ISO 9001 (Quality Management System ) certifi ed since August 2000. Our certifi cation was renewed after a successful audit conducted by SGS-Tanzania in December 2012. The current certifi cate number is TZ09/2009 (ISO 9001:2008 edition) and is valid from 12th January 2013 to 12th January 2016, subject to satisfactory surveillance
audits conducted twice per year.
